This is the first official trailer for our mod, Hard-Life. This mod aims to make Half-Life drastically more difficult without simply making enemies into bullet sponges. We've added new AI behaviors, changed the way game systems worked, and added a ton of new content into the game that still fits the art and spirit of Half-Life.

Oh man, I feel like those Headcrabs are going to give me a hell of a hard time. The way they danced around the electric volts in Office Complex sent a shiver up my spine.
Headcrabs are a legitimate menace now.
Will there be a Minigun Grunt and a M249 Grunt (from opposing force) or is it as hard as it is already?
We're attempting to reframe from using Opfor or Bshift assets. I personally don't think they fit in at all with the style of Valve's Half-Life. Adding new weapons is a big step to a game like this, and will probably be noticed by most people as not part of the original game.
If new weapons are added, they will be custom built by me to match Valve's art.
