First test of vehicle physics in the engine. Camera isn't yet attached to the vehicle so I had to chase it, without much success I admit :)
Also it's really easy to lose sight of the truck in the big world.
First test of vehicle physics in the engine. Gaz 66 truck whizzing down the bumpy slopes.

Oo, I like this. I wish there was more info about the engine itself though.
Thanks, I'll try to update the info progressively, I've only discovered moddb yesterday :)
looking Really good!!!
Very fascinating, I will see how the further updates will go.
It'd be great to see more video games using fractal algorithms, and I believe there are a handful of independent developers using them here on ModDB. If I'm not mistaken, Infinity engine is doing something similar, but I'm unsure on the method.
Down hill truck skiing, the new summer Olympic sport! And a pretty impressive open space rendering engine. Nice work.
Do a BARREL ROLL!
Holy crap, are those mountains in the background generated real time?
Yes, there's full visibility, i.e. what distant stuff you can possibly see on Earth you can see here too (160km, 100 miles); actually we have to fix the aerial fog by lowering the visibility to make it more realistic.
It is also seamless - you can rise up to the space so that you can see the whole planet and land in a different place.
...If only games like UT2004 had that kind of superawesomeness.
That would make for a very beautiful RTS hybrid type functionality.
Looks like an excellent start. Is this engine using OpenGL or DirectX and is it portable (through SDL or otherwise)?
OpenGL, but it's also prepared for a DirectX 10+ back-end. Otherwise it uses only portable libraries.
Looks sweet.
Seems like it would make nice Racing games
Do yo have a System requirements list for the engine yet? If so can you please post them so we can get an idea of how the engine will run on our machines?
