What inspired you to become a lead vocalist and pursue a career in music?

A: It all began in my elementary school days when I stumbled upon an idol band called “Harmony Hearts.” It was my very first encounter with idol music, and I became instantly obsessed. The way they sang and dance was so magical.

It was during this time that I was introduced to my incredibly beautiful and talented bandmate, May, who plays the piano. Together, we made a promise to grace the stage in front of a large crowd. And here we are now. 😮

What do you enjoy most about being an idol and performing in front of your fans?

A: Years ago, I was going through some hard times. I have a chronic illness as many of you know and had to undergo surgery. I couldn't stop stressing over it and it was ruining my life.

That was when Ritsuko, the singer from Harmony Hearts reached out to me on social media, and gave me some words of encouragement & positivity ❤️

Just those simple words really helped me get through those difficult times and I couldn't have been more grateful for what Ritsuko did. It made me love Harmony Hearts even more.

And that's the most rewarding part about being an idol, I think. It's understanding how impactful our music can be, and how a simple act of kindness like that can brighten someone's day or week.

Final question, how did you decide on the name Luminaries?

A: I didn't decide the name, but I helped influence it. Our management, Kirameki Entertainment, has the final say on it.

I liked the name Luminaries because it symbolizes what we stand for. Our motto is “to bring light to the world, one performance at a time” and I feel the name resonates in us.

I hope you got to know me better from those questions. Next time, my friend, May, will be introducing herself, so stay tuned :) Make sure to attend our concert!
