Admin Upgrade!
With the release of v6.1 we promised that we were going to create a new admin system to rival MarkMods and Gez Mod. In v6.3 we are one major step closer to accomplishing that goal. We now have a WebAdmin and ingame Admin panel. This is important, because you will need to have some way to carry out some new actions that we've given administrators:
- Mute players
- Lock teams (or lock a player from changing their team)
- Force everyone to a team (or force a specific player to a team)
- Kill players
- Promote players to leader
This might not seem like much, but the next patch, v6.4, will add even more permissions to administrators as well as providing some more tools for dealing with unruly players. As our multiplayer community slowly grows, so too does the need to administrate servers properly.
But I play singleplayer. What does the new patch mean for me?
Excellent question! While it may not seem like much, we have added in a new Suppressed P90 and given flashlights to the TEC-9, Uzi, and the AKM. Interestingly enough, the TEC-9 model always had a flashlight, but the developers did not allow the player to activate it. We're working on some more exciting additions to the arsenal for v7.
Additionally, we've updated the game launching script to automatically detect problems in installing the mod, so hopefully there will be less issues there.

Well done, I like the single player mods.
More Tools to deal with unruly players isn´t really necessary, it´s just to shove them around and that will end with an kick or ban anyway.
Nonetheless, i will donate, when i get the next wage.
as my friends like to say "a kick is a warning."
players who return to discuss and insult would have deserved the ban in the first place. but arranging palyers can be good for larger MP missions.
