Hi there,

I have made a comparison screenshot at then realized the huge differences between our version of strike at karkand and the original version.

please discuss whether you would like a mostly copied design of strike at karkand or with small changes like on the screenshot.

I changed the grass to a dryer one meanwhile but the discussion idea stays so i provide you this screen better than the new one.

we really need this sort of feedback as it would save us VERY much work later in the process.

regards

added the new picture - you can still compare the old look if you right below this window on the video. also the old pic is still in the gallery.

Well, it brings up a question. Are we trying to copy BF2 levels or are we having BF2 levels with a "inside job" twist?

this question is hard to answer as the lack of my english could turn my answer into the false direction.

i would describe the situation like this:

- the look and feel of bf2 multiplayer is very balanced and fun
- strike at karkand is one of the best multiplayer city maps i ve seen so far

getting this look and feel with the fun @gaming back to crysis wars would be the goal.
strike at karkand is some sort of opener on which we can more easily address players on the mod.
surely we need our own content our own ideas.

if players demand more bf2-maps i wont bother to make them but we will make a huge playground based on other maps and maybe even gamemodes.

unique for this game-genre will already be our suicide-bomb-mode and the aura-system which is planned.
not to forget the special agents(insidejob'ers) that will (probably) play against both sites as a third party ingame.
still to be discussed but i like the idea :)

at the end internal testings are the only way to find it out. but copying one game into another was never our goal.otherwise we could have named it cryfield2 or however :)

depends at the end on the team :)

regards
