Report article RSS Feed Damned Nation: Welcome to the carnival

Our latest creation to the Damned Nation open world.

Posted by SinisterGames on Jul 20th, 2013

What We Have Been Up To

It has been a while since our last update but be assured we are still working hard on the project.

We are working on creating a series of environments to populate the open world
a carnival has been a must have from the beginning so we have put in some work to make it happen.

This environment gives of a spooky feel when walking around the rundown attractions and is a great place to loot and explore and fits in seamlessly with the Damned Nation World.

The Screens

A new game play trailer will be show soon.

Thanks again for your support on IndieDB, ModDB and Greenlight.

Taking the brown-ness of modern games to a new level. Not saying thats bad, its just seems like lots of new shooters feel they need to be brown and gritty. However, it does look quite nice.

Hi the reason for so much brown is because we want to make the world as run down as possible.
The problem with this is with the light bounce and light probes it make any white or silver texture have a hint of brown

i hope this helps and explains it for you :)
