Makes little sense to be colonizing the moon.
Looks interesting, but it might be hard coming up with any type of realistic story-line.
There are many good reasons to colonize the moon, 2 major ones.
1.Epic natural disaster like the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs, having a second body colonized in the solar system greatly enhances the chances of human survival.
2.Potential energy source, with the high possibility of helium 3 we could have nuclear fusion power plants producing clean energy in vast quantities.
There are many more reasons for scientific study and future exploration of space
But some people may think we should solve our own problems here on Earth first. - but as a game goes its for fun and as in all fiction it doesn't have to be realistic - though grounded in facts makes for a more compelling story/gameplay

I think mars would be a much better alternative. More possibilities with that. The moon seems somewhat dull.
