The situation with certain players obliged us to stop public testing of CMA. From now on we'll go by another, more common method: almost complete internal testing and development. Alpha and beta releases are postponed.
As practice showed, large amount of warnings about INSTABILITY, LACK OF OPTIMIZATION, BUGS and UNFINISHED state doesn't get to most people. There are lots of players who think that alpha is "almost ready, just some things need polishing" thing. And when they see that alpha build is 100% alpha they become shocked and trash the mod. People don't want to see long development, people want it full and fast.
Some folk ask us why do we repeat the same warnings over and over. Answer is simple: there are always slow ones who don't get that alpha won't give you the same as the finished product. To prevent this from happening we (as stated earlier) stop open testing.

Good you've came to it
It's unfortunate that those who don't understand how development works have to ruin things for the community. Understandable, but unfortunate.
That's unfortunate, just makes it even harder to get a second opinion. Perhaps you could release it to those can keep in contact with the team and give feedback?
That sucks are you thinking about closed tester?
I am happy to be a tester; in fact I love to test.
I remember Alpha being the stage where only devs test. It's beta where others can test more when the very obvious stuff is fixed.
