After a fairly long struggle getting the ropes to work how I'd like, with a couple of revisions, rewrites and big changes I'm finally at a point where I can show off a video of what boarding is like. So the first thing you should do is check that out!
One of the things I really like is the new combat animations by Papa Lazarou. You can check them out here. I think they work really well. At some point I'll tweak them to move the right leg forward, left leg back and turn the body, so that the pose is more fencing like.
The content shown in the video is still fairly work in progress so you can expect a full range of tweaks and fixes.
After this, as I'm pretty sick of programming, I'm going to begin on making some more ships! I can't wait to get the boarding and sailing scaled up, as the sloop is currently the smallest ship planned.
I've programmed in support for up to ten ropes, and there can be as many boarding planks as I like - so expect some absolutely massive and very chaotic boarding battles on the bigger ships.

Holy moly! Never heard of this mod. Looks like a brand new game! I can't wait for this. The whole swinging over to the other ship part reminds me of the POTC movies and whatnot. Looking forward to the next update.
