New game-play video of Gauntlet Beta 2.0 plus other news!

Hey guys, after i released the first beta i began work on the second beta right away and i have made a few awesome improvements (ill talk about these later) but for now let me entertain you all with this game-play demo i made of the new version (dose not contain all the added features some will be a surprise =D). It also has a running commentary by me just to give you all some incite as to what I'm doing with my time.

Anyway here is the video (this will be up for download as well)

So far here are the new game fixes for beta 2.0

- Fixed player being able to move mouse up and down in TP
- Fixed DOORS on map1
- Fixed Weapon Recoil
- Fixed Crosshair
- Fixed Door Entrance
- Fixed maps for exits
- Fixed map exploit
- Fixed triggers
- Fixed math_counter
- Fixed npc_metrocop
- Fixed issue with not having css installed <- Working on this now

The biggest improvement so far is my attempts to get the mod to only need hl2 to run (at the moment it needs HL2, SDK and CSS, i plan to make it just HL2 and SDK that is needed). So for the time being you guys will have to put up with the original HL2 models. The beta will be up for download very soon so you will have just have to wait, I'm doing this so there are a lot of new features for you guys to test for me. I'm currently looking for people who can help me out with getting player lives and score boards to work within my mod, you can send me emails regarding this, again any help you guys want to offer would be a blessing!

Thanks again to everyone who participated in the beta and i will still be receiving the bugs you guys send in but ill post up the password for the beta so everyone can enjoy without having to wait for me to reply to there emails =D the password is bluemoonruns so i hope you all have fun with that!

In other news a HL2 Fan site has done a write up about my mod... I cant understand it at all which is kinda disappointing but still its good to see community getting behind this project! Well here is the link. Half-life2.sk maybe some of you could translate for me =D!

Anyways feel free to post comments below i love to hear from you guys, kinda makes this hard work worth it =P in return ill make sure i keep you all up to date with my work! And before i go i just want to say my sorries for all the people and teams out there who saw my first release as anything other then a honest release, i did not think to thank the people who helped me and who helped make programs and releases that i have used. Thanks again to all who made this possible.

authyed, nice work and good job on saying its smod should ease alot of tension the vid looks good though mate, keep it up.

yeah im currently fixing some stuff, decals arnt on my list atm but im going to set up options so you can change in game how much blood you want to see.

Also check out the eXtermination mod. They have a scoreboard system you may be able to get help from them.

I would like to help you as I am a big fan of Gauntlet and a C++ and C# programmer myself. I'm not sure how much I can help you at this point because I have not dabbled into the Source SDK YET but i'll open up and poke around. I don't think it should be that hard. Are you attempting to make a full remake? With the classes and different models and weapons for each class that were in gauntlet?
