So it's been about ten months since I've worked on the mod. Between then and now, I've made progress getting Banjo into CryEngine 3. On top of that, with PlayUp tools and sketchup in my arsenal, hard-surface modeling is a piece of cake. So apart from figuring out how to get the mesh and skeleton working in harmony in the engine, it would be easier getting art assets over to CryEngine 3 than Phoenix.
Sorry Overgrowth fans.

You should have made a different article for posting on CryENGINE 3 news. Those of us tracking the engine know nothing about your project- other than you have moved from one engine to CE3
Banjo? from the n64?
Yeah. The point of the project is to remake Banjo-Kazooie from the N64 from scratch. Though that may take a long time, it's a pretty great learning experience for me.
you are stealing my idea!!! :( :D great! i can't wait to see the progress :)
If you'd like you can collaborate with me. I'm having a little trouble getting the skeleton and animations working in maya for cryengine.
i think i don't have the qualification^^ i'm only modeling some stuff in xsi^^ i think my "work" is not worth it to be in such a good upcoming game :D i did the Mad Monster Mansion entrance a long time ago, i will upload a few pics when i got my new computer maybe you like it^^
