The past month has seen the release of 0.95, the introduction of a brand new shotgun and a ton of weapons returning from the original packs! The Single Player Ladder has been a massive hit with the community and has kept you all fragging away while we have been up to making new content for you to enjoy. The new content since the introduction of the RCS has been a little slow but will pay off by June or July! With the help of the community, and the taking on of a few new developers, the returning content has boomed up to 12 returning weapons to be release over the next 2 updates, which is fantastic! With the Archive collection coming to its finish, we can concentrate on newer content for your eyes!

PSI-56 Fire Sword
During Operation: Chalkboard Firefly, UTC troopers had discovered a strange sword being developed in secret in an underground arctic facility by an unknown manufacturer. While having the appearance of a Medieval arming sword, the blade itself seems to be made out of a strange nano-material, and is covered in a bright fire when held. UTC scientists have yet to find out more about the weapon due to resources being tight due to fighting the Skrith. However what has been found is this weapon was intended to be some sort of psionic enhancing focii, capable of shielding the user from explosions and flames alike.
RSH-1034 Ballistic Shield
Manufacturer: Apollo Industries
Primary: Smash
Secondary: Prepared Bash
A defensive weapon capable of blocking many attack types. Reduces incoming frontal damage by 35 or reduces it to 25% of the original amount, whichever is greater. Blocks melee damage outright. Has no effect on non-locational damage such as gas and fire.
Oh damn, nice to see BW is still being worked on! Looking forward to the full release alongside the archive weapons, will be so many toys to play with!

What a time to be alive. Ballistic weapons gets a 2020 release, Halo 3 is about to be released on PC, PCs are extremely cheap to build (unlike when ballistic weapons was first arriving on the scene) and Steam is bending the knee to the likes of China (thank goodness for GoG). Keep up the fantastic work BW Devs. Been following you guys for what seems to be over a decade. Awesome stuff!
