Hi All.
Hope you have all had an amazing new year. Gonna start of the new year with a nice bit of news for you all! With V1.3 only days away, We are already planning for the introductions of Weapons to V1.4. With The majority of Sergeant Kelly's Bonus packs, and Jiffys Content on the rise, I want to discuss some of the more recent developments which deserve alot more popularity. These packs are called the Skrith Wars Bonus packs. Compatible with Ballistic 2.5, these packs are slowly making it into the future updates, with one Skrith Wars weapons making it into 1.3 and planning two Skrith Wars weapons making it into 1.4.
The main reason we didnt add the Skrith Wars Packs into the Complete Collection was due to the models not being unique and more amalgamations of the original 2.5 weapons, which we try to avoid when we make new weapons for the pack. Due to the growth of the community, a number of modellers have become interested in getting their content into the mod, with one user in particular wanting to get the Skrith Wars Content into the mod. We embrace people getting involved with the mod and we always see opportunity within the community.
Below is a number of comparison shots between the original models and the new models created by the community. Expect to see these weapons making their debut in the mod. Happy Fraggin lads!

We all play on the server at around 7pm BST from Friday to Sunday. For updates on the server, join the discord to stay on top of announcements and notifications on when we are all playing. The server runs on a Test version of the Complete collection so you will be able to try a lot of the new content before it is released!

BR1NK Mod-2 LMR

The BR1NK is a light machinegun that bridges the gap between Heavy assault rifle, Such as the MARS, and Light Machinegun, such as the M353. With a large Ammo Capacity, Dual Mag and Dual Barrel, you can expect a fast fire rate that interchanges with the left and right barrel. Its secondary is a Frost Torpedo to help with underwater combat. The Radar may help you locate any players around and an ammo counter will help you keep count of your available rounds.

The MDK is a multipurpose PDW, with a scope, a silencer and multiple different ammo types. All attachable and detachable for all kinds of scenarios. Enough said.
D66 Plasma Revolver

An early version of the model, expect some changes. The D66 Plasma Revolver is a varient of a six shooter with a rechargeable plasma sniper shot for those extra long range shots. Certainly a pistol to fear.
Oh my goodness, this is amazing. Skrith Wars, while being kinda unoriginal with models, the ideas were great. It is good to see that it is being worked on as well. Also what is the weapon on thumbnail? Because holy balls, it reminds me of H.A.R. from DooM 2016, although this one has shotgun shells instead.
The photo in in the article picture is an old model that we lost a long time ago, just an image i had left on my pc at the time 😂. Skrith Wars is the main interest in this article and the main interest in a few modellers within the community. The ideas where there but the models needed work.
I see. By the way, at which point do you think that you will release it here? 1.5 or Later? Just being curious.
A ModDB release won't be for a rather long time. This is due to the fact that we are constantly updating the mod and have no plan on stopping. By having the download available on the discord, not only can we grow a community but we can listen to the community feedback and improve the mod to their liking.
I really like the look of these new guns! 😸
