I found the problem with GC/IGC and my new factions. What a crime...

Alright...in a total reversal of fortunes, I seem to have found what was wrong with my new factions and the Auto-Resolving of land combat.
It seems, there is a file.
This file...is an XML file...
This XML file...is called GroundBases.XML
GroundBases.xml was refereed to in the scripts, and AI logic XMLS of Forces of Corruption as being "depreciated"...as in...no longer used. Instead...all ground logic was done from the scripts.
Those scripts were lying.
I only discovered the mention of GroundBases.xml as I was working on the scripts. I found it commented out of the LUA code.
Anyway...GroundBases.xml had a listing of every faction that was allowed to have ground bases.
Those factions were "Rebels, Empire, Underworld, Pirates, Neutral, and Hutts"
Sound familiar? It should...if you read the last news article.
Long story short...the original plan for GC/IGC is back on track...and just as I had nearly completed Space only AI for GC. What a crime...don't you think? Good thing I kept backups of my Planets.XML and Campaigns_Underworld_GC.XML files...or...tonight would be a very long night.
Now...time to dig up my list of beta testers...cause I am going to have to draft some PMs and upload a VERY LARGE .rar file to them VERY SOON.
Now...if you will excuse me...I have a date with the razor...
