Well we had a post pending authorization for our 1.02 release but I am writing to tell you I am temporally postponing it. The reason for this is a few files got slipped into the release build a few hours before finalizing the build and while we were on a content lockdown. The kicker is a broken version of nmo_cabin where an objective doesn't work, was one of those files.
If you don't care about one broken map you can head over to our forums for the full list of download mirrors in the mean time. Also, as I am sure many of you have already downloaded the desura/moddb builds earlier today. Don't worry, the hotfix/patch will come within a day. The game is still quite playable if you avoid nmo_cabin for the time being. The hotfix is expected to be about 20mbs sorry for the inconvenience.

- Objective glow outlines now display properly
- Zombie pathfinding now uses nav meshes
- cl_stickyironsight 1 bug fixed (this means you can fire while holding down your is key if ironsight mode is toggled)
- Introduced new method of zombie spawning (more intellgent and gives more control to mappers)
- The Sako 85 scope isn't as finicky now
- Player collision reintroduced in response to accidental FF
- Developers will now show up with (DEV) next to their name on the scoreboard in order to prevent players from imitating team members.

i tried to play tonight using the 1.02 but the two servers with players playing were apparently using an older version of the maps...it said that my map was not the same as the one they were using.

Yeah those servers were probably running 1.01
Starting with 1.02 it will show the version of the servers in the description. So if the server still shows as "No More Room in Hell" instead of "NMRiH Beta 1.02", they haven't upgraded yet.
When me and my friend played 1.02 it lagged like hell, the zombie spawner spam amount of zombies at once. You need to fix that, Cabin wasen't that laggy at all on 1.01. :|
I love the difficulty increase on 1.02
i think they are working on a map. i was playing yesterday clicking a lot of random servers and i came up with a City WIP map.. the color scheme was beautiful lol
So did you replace the little girl zombie with a African American kid or are both in-game coz i only saw the the boy?
