Post news Report RSS 1.01 update in the pipeline

Almost one week after the original release of A Wrong Turn 1.0 - and its almost immediate hotfix, that's what you get for rushing into things ! - we have begun working on the first real update to our mod.

What to expect from the 1.01 version ?

- Bug fixes : the helicopter blades glitch ; the Imam not enjoying the abilities of the General ; the missing miniatures ; the ground attack plane not selectable from the airport ; a couple issues with building names.

- New models and skins for the Empire of the Rising Sun, Salviatia, the Horde and the Transsahelians.

- The introduction of Experimental Units !

Experimental Units will be buildable at the "Experimental Lab" wonder. Each civ will have its own, with very special and powerful abilities that, we hope, will bring a lot more interest in this now rather useless building. More on them in an upcoming paper.

do you think it possible for the experimental lab to be built by everyone? then that way you can have experiemental wars etc or something?

No, I don't think it is. Besides, it would take away all the point in the wonders' system.
There is indeed an interest in exploring future conflicts in the world of A Wrong Turn, but this will have to be the object of another mod, or another game, or a future expansion pack for this mod !
