X32I Redemption is a space simulator heavily inspired by Freespace 2 creators Volition, inc. This will be taking the best of the Freepsace 2 and the best of the Cryengine 2 while adding our own stuff in to make it the ultimate space sim.

Really old gameplay vid, but decided it was better than the other one we already had online.
This is brilliant. It looks gritty and realistic. A lot of space sims are way too clean, but this looks excellent. And it's an old video too, can't imagine what a newer one might look like. Keep going!

looks fun, and i know you said it's old, so thats why ill ask, will u be using the generic crysis sounds, and particle effects for the guns in a lter version?
No, all sound effects are custom made.
There is nothing used from Crysis at all, if there is currently something that is from Crysis, it's because we haven't had the time to change it out, but the entire thing will be 100% custom content.

That's because the video has no sound. ¬_¬ unlike Youtube moddb doesn't allow annotations :P
Like everything, just dont like the looks of the controls? it stops in place? maybe let it fly very slowly when not controling, also the flying looks a bit unrealistic, but thats the only complain I have :D
Those are untweaked controls that's why, the controls have been tweaked since, and they will likely be tweaked for a long time to come.
You should makie it so you can't hear any noise except the noises your ship is making if you feel like taking such a risk. Even Star wars wasn't that realistic.
