Haven't seen the newer games or read the books in ages; but Covenant really shoot that much, that fast? Not to mention - shouldn't the shots travel much slower? I thought they had slow moving tracking shots.
If it can't be done through coding - perhaps using missiles in some way to represent Covenant weapons instead would allow for a basic tracking ability.
Also i thought Covenant didn't have proper lasers? - Wasn't it Cortana that figured out that could be done?...or did they figure it out later too?
Either way, looks great - ships are looking very nice; already give the feel of "Holy **** Covenant"; though I'd recommend lowering the flash on the laser for a sharper/thinner look.
No idea what you have planned - but the removal of shields from UNSC ships would fit pretty nicely.

as stated in the description the rate of fire needs to be adjusted, the problem with using missiles is that they use up lots cargo space which the actual guns only uses very little, as for the tracking, i think it may be possible to get the shots to track, but it will need a bit of investigation. the laser at the end was a fault on my part as the turret slot was fitted with 8 energy projectors rather than 1 on that turret which it supposed to have, i just forgot to remove them, so the energy projector that was supposed to be there is actually 8 times thinner than the one we saw in the clip. ive set the single energy projector shot to just cripple the ship so to give it a chance to escape(for balance) but as we see in the clip times that by 8 and it just obliterates the frigate. for the sheilds i was thinking of changing it to hull plating so onece the hull plateing was lost the hull would take the hits, much the same way as it works now just renaming and adjustments to fit right for balance. all in all, once the necessary adjustments are made hopefully it will look and feel right whilst giving the unsc a chance

if you look carefully, you can see the missiles it fired flying towards the cruiser and impacting at the end. the first frigate managed to get a couple of mac rounds off though

maybe you should change the death explosion for the frigates that are obviously M7 Frigates into the Destroyer/Carrier Explosion just smaller than these but still bigger than the "Heavy" Rocket explosion. And what'll you do about the Covenant Ship Explosions? They have to be blueish like and Extremely big for CCS. Because nobody likes it if you destroy a ship of that size where you normally await an epic explosion and then see an ship just disapperaing after it made a fire-fart :D

Description

a quick video showing both unsc and covenant weapons, there are some changes to be made, such as rate of fire and damage of weapons and explosion effects. i would also like to point out that i've tried to get the weapon power as canon as possible without sacrificing balance, which looks like it has already happened going by the outcome of this quick skirmish. needless to say, this give us an idea how out-classed the unsc forces were. hope you enjoy
