SETTING UP THE 0.7.6+ UPDATE AND SOLVING ISSUES

DOWNLOADING THE GAME
If your total game size shows as less than 7 GB when downloading the game - restart the launcher to fix issues.

LANGUAGE CHANGE
If you have English language in-game and you need, let's say, Russian, then exit the game, go to Settings in launcher, select any language other than the one you want and click Apply. Then select the language you need and click Apply again.

"WINTER STORIES" SEASONAL EVENT
To launch the seasonal event, open up the Seasonal Event tab and click Create server (WARNING! Do not set a password on your server, otherwise no one will be able to connect), then after it has started, click on Connect to your server. For your partner to be able to join the server, they need to launch the game from the same Seasonal Event tab. It works the same way with the base game - to play in Defence mode, you need to launch the server from the Server tab and launch the game from the Home tab. If you've got dynamic IP and the server isn't visible in server browser, you can use software to imitate a LAN network, such as Radmin VPN. Instructions below.

INVALID HOST ERROR
Disabling firewall can fix this issue. Open the Start Menu, type Windows Firewall, then in the left-hand menu click Turn Windows Firewall on or off and turn it off.

RADMIN VPN
Download and install the program, after launching it click Network > Create Network, type in your desired network name and password, then click Create. After that, if you've created your own network, invite other players to it by giving them your network's name and password. After joining the network, players will need to copy the IP address of the one who they wish to join and paste this IP in-game by clicking Direct IP in server browser.

Main actions:

1. Get the launcher and install it in any desired path (IMPORTANT! The launcher may ask you to install missing components, it is mandatory to do so);
2. Launch it and choose where the game will be installed. Wait until the installation process is finished and click Play;
3. If you can't find any xrMPE server in the server list, you can use LAN-imitating software such as Radmin VPN: install it and launch it, then click Network -> Create New Network, enter your desired network name and password and click Create; you can also join an existing network, for example our official xrMPE network (name: xrmpe_obt_3 and xrmpe_obt_4, password for both: 111111). Let other players join your network, then all the players must copy the IP of a host and use it to join the server by clicking Direct IP in-game.

IMPORTANT! xrMPE has English translation, to enable it, switch launcher language to English and start the game.

P.S. If you can't create or server or don't have teammates to play with, visit our Discord server: there you can ask players to launch a server or find teammates to play with in an appropriate channel.

Creating a server:

Open up your xrMPE installation folder and open the bin folder, then start a startdedicated_df file. Then in the server list click Direct IP, type localhost as an IP and click Join.
IMPORTANT! When creating a server, you must consider whether your IP is static or dynamic. Dynamic IP won't be useable for hosting a server as nobody will be able to join it (use LAN-imitating software like Radmin VPN instead). Static IP makes your server publicly visible.

Common problems and solutions:

IMPORTANT! X-Ray Multiplayer Extension is currently in beta testing, so there are a few things that you need to remember when installation or setting the mod up. Glitches and crashes are also possible.

1. Do not install the game on a very long path, it can cause crashes;
2. Do not install the game on top of vanilla Call of Pripyat, the launcher downloads everything you need;
3. If you get a Different version message when joining a server, check what version does the server you're joining has: it must be the latest one. You can check your current version in your launcher or in the game's main menu.

How to make an Admin account on an xrMPE server:

1. Open up your xrMPE installation folder and open the _appdata_server folder, create a radmins.ltx file inside;
2. Open it with notepad and add a [radmins] section into it, then on the next line add login=password, where login - is your login and password is your password (Example: PiMoN=123);
3. To get admin rights on the server, join it and in console type ra login login password (using the login and password you set in radmins.ltx).

Technical support:

If you did everything according to the instruction and still have problems, contact us on our Discord server. In case of a game crash attach the most recent .mdmp and .log files from _appdata_\logs of your game folder, or from _appdata_server\logs folder if it was a server crash.
IMPORTANT! We don't provide support for projects based off xrMPE and we will decline your help request if you are playing such a project, ask help from its creators. Also, support can decline your help request if you're playing an outdated version of the mod or if you downloaded it from unofficial sources.

Admin (radmin) console commands:

• g_spawn - spawns any item from the list
• g_spawn_to_inventory - spawns an item from the list into your inventory
• g_spawn_to_inventory_target - spawns an item from the lsit into the inventory of the target you're looking at
• g_change_visual_visualname - changes a visual model of yourself or the target you're looking at
• sv_host_name - server name
• sv_max_players - maximum number of players
• g_respawn - respawns you as the item from the list
• g_god - players invincibility
• g_unlimitedammo - infinite ammo for all players
• g_no_clip - noclip (for radmin players only)
• g_target_die - kill the target we're looking at
• sv_rename_mode - rename your current server gamemode
• sv_df_max_connect_wave - adjusts the number of wave after which players won't be able to join a started game; players will also not be able to join if the game is currently in the last wave

Removal of items and bodies:

• sv_remove_actors_corpse # - for player bodies
• sv_remove_all_alive_monsters # - for living monsters
• sv_remove_all_alive_stalkers # - for living npcs
• sv_remove_monster_corpse # - for dead monsters
• sv_remove_stalker_corpse # - for dead npcs
• sv_remove_weapon # - for inventory items

Values of #: -1 - never remove, 0 - remove after some time, 1 - remove instantly.
