This model was made just for Fun, not for WiW WS. This model - is an attempt to disguise the German tank Pz-5 in the American Wolverine. It's hard to...
On 5 October 1939, the Soviet Union invited a Finnish delegation to Moscow for negotiations. The Soviets demanded that the border between the USSR and Finland on the Karelian Isthmus be moved westward to a point only 30 kilometres east of Viipuri and that the Finns destroy all existing fortifications on the Karelian Isthmus. Furthermore, the Finns would have to lease the Hanko Peninsula for 30 years and permit the Soviets to establish a military base there. In exchange, the Soviet Union would cede two municipalities with twice the territory demanded from Finland. Accepting Soviet demands would have forced the Finns to dismantle their defences in Finnish Karelia.
The Soviet offer divided the Finnish government, but it was eventually rejected. On 31 October, in the assembly of the Supreme Soviet, Molotov announced Soviet demands in public. The Finns made two counteroffers whereby Finland would cede the Terijoki area to the Soviet Union, which would double the distance between Leningrad and Finnish border, far less than the Soviets had demanded. From the Soviet point of view the negotiations were finished, however an attack by Finnish artillery on the 28th November, triggered the Soviet to renounce the non-aggression pact.
World In War: Winter Strike is a singleplayer modifcation, it will add new models to the game and introduce new missions, so far 2 are planned and will be finished. This mod will be about the conflict between Russia and Finland, the event that was also called "The Winter War".
We have put up the resources of our current progress on World in War: Winter Strike
For the reason I will quote on of our modeler Nebel30:
So. It was a long time since the WS project was announced. At this moment we are very busy working on the Vietnam War and we'll return to WS not sooner than Vietnam will be finished. However, we understand that some of the resources we will not use any longer. So we decided to upload them here. You can use them, but be sure to include us as authors models. "
I again repeat from his quote: "You can use them, but be sure to include us as authors models."
If we find out that this does not happen we will take this down.
