US forces have a mighty array of vehicles on hand in the field to get any task done. Everything from their superior main battle tanks to their devastating heavy artillery are all indestructible machines of war. They can guarantee any general an unprecedented victory if used tactfully. Pictured here are all the ground vehicles available to the US faction.
A. The Humvee is the workhorse of the US military. Fast and lightly armored, they make great recon vehicles. They can also be used rather effectively against infantry as their 50-caliber Browning machine guns can unleash devastating bursts of fire and rip apart soft-skinned targets, but don't expect them to win in an engagement against an enemy IFV or an enemy main battle tank.
B. The M2 Bradley is an all around versatile vehicle with great armor and agility. Its HEAT missiles and chain gun allow it to engage and dominate all kinds of enemy targets, even giving it a fighting chance against enemy main battle tanks (sometimes).
C. The M1A2 Abrams tank is the pride of the US military's armored corps. Its impenetrable armor, 125 mm gun and co-axial machine gun allow it easily vanquish any enemy target be it a vehicle or a grunt. It is perhaps the most powerful tank in the world.
D. The M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzer is the epitome of heavy artillery. It is slow and lumbering, but very powerful against any ground target.
E. The M270 MLRS system is another fearsome artillery asset at the disposal of American forces. It can unleash devastating rocket barrages allowing it to shower enemy targets with death and destruction. It is great for attacking concentrations of enemies.
F. The Avenger AA system is an efficient anti-aircraft asset that can lock onto and destroy enemy aircraft with great precision.
