World in Conflict is perhaps the most audacious project that has ever been embarked upon for Rise of Nations. It will implement real-world realism into Information Age warfare. This includes radical changes to graphics, units stats and all around game-play.

Hi guys post all bugs here. Some users have claimed that certain units don't have sound. Can someone please point out the names of these units so I can investigate?

Dec 19 2012 Anchor

Tanks, infantries, IFVs, etc. No gunfire sound nor cannon(tank) sound.

Dec 19 2012 Anchor

Anybody else experiencing this problem? Some users have reported that sounds are indeed working. Did you install correctly? Did you run the new installer?

For me with the hotfix i got those bugs, the already known sounds problems...and with IDF cant deploy troops from helos, and dont know why some cities dont stop to create citizens :S by the way, a great work Uthum...just great thanks

PD: i confirmed, on quick battle i can deploy troops from helos and ifv´s but not in MP LAN´s

I fixed it. The sound bug. Apparently after the installation there was 2 files - sound and sounds. One of them is WiC Beta and the other the one's a default. So basically I moved the sounds from Beta to the original RON sounds file, so now the sounds are working :D

Thank you! Thats definitely an installer error let me fix that right away!!!

Look at this:

You need to select the World in Conflict script in the quick battle menu.

Apr 12 2013 Anchor

is that selecting the game mod in quick battle? bcoz i selected the game mod world in conflict beta mod in quick battle and still didnt work.

if not, pls show me how.

Apr 12 2013 Anchor

At the bottom of the quick battle menu, there is a scripts tab, so click on that and should be able to select the World in Conflict script.

Hello WIC team, first of all I would like to thank you for the outstanding work and to say that I am very impressed.

I have been playing as the US (white color), in a 4 player map, vs Russia (red), and Israel (blue), after playing for some time my barracks don't train any more units, as a matter of fact when I select any of my barracks I see all the troop unit icons(marines) are gone. In the contrary, the stance selector, rally point, and raze icons are still there. As an additional note, my population is only 230 of the 600 limit.

umm. For the Americans the carriers are messed up, they deploy modern age fighter bombers and the barracks train random troops non stop. This only occurs when i run the script.

For the non-stop barracks training, look at this:

The script is not working for me :( Even when I do select Green Yellow White or Orange. 1. The Carriers still carry modern age fighters. 2. The barracks are not even making marines. Help plz!

May 14 2013 Anchor

Carrier issue I'll fix in the next update. I have no idea why you can't make marines? Try reinstalling RON and reapplying the mod?

May 14 2013 Anchor

Ok, I Will try that. Can't wait for next update :D

I Can't Deploy troops please help us ..........

Oct 10 2013 Anchor

Make sure that you have selected the World in Conflict script from the drop down list in the quick battle menu.

Oct 17 2013 Anchor

how can i selected the World in Conflict script ? ??

Oct 17 2013 Anchor

In the quick battle setup menu (the one where you choose the factions, map, mod etc) there is an option in the bottom right-hand corner called "Script:". In the drop down menu for it, there should be a script with a name like "World in Conflict" or "WIC" (I can't remember the exact name sorry). So select that script and you should be able to deploy troops. Just remember, the script will only work if your player color is the following: green, yellow, white, orange, and cyan. If you play using red, blue or purple colors, the script will train units automatically for you.
