No, It's not megatexture. I decided to use a different way to create them.
These terrain models are fine to use whatever you want. Using them as puzzles to make your map.
They are all HD from large and short distances

The performance with the current method is excellent. 60 fps everywhere, no lags.
And very low poly... 100 polys and 2048x2048 unique texture for all
That is almost as good as the megatextures are. ^^

btw, No I don't. In fact I have started to make them a few weeks ago.
In graphic concepts they are finished, but not really ingame.
This is due to the optimization done to the game in orden to run it with the maximum details and performance as posible.
Mostly because there are outdoors too.
Now I am trying to make them physic in-game.
Right now I feel more confortable with the engine. It sems to run more efficiently than before. I used to have some serious problems with it, but not today.
thats excellent for tossers like me who are on ancient puters with ancient hardware, 256 mb vram and 1 gb ram =)
