You whip around the corner...a hooded maniac is standing there, looking dumb...you've got plenty of time to whip up your shotgun and give him a new oriface before he even knows what's going on. He bites the dust, and with a self-satisfied grin, you walk over and strip him of the goods he's carrying. Out of the corner of your eye you see movement in the shadows behind you. You turn around with lightning speed just in time to dodge a lethal blow by a rusty axe. It's a walking corpse, and he's not happy to see you. Well, you don't like him much either, you think, as you whip out your tommmy gun and blow him to smithereens....
Is it a scene from a B-grade horror movie? Perhaps a nightmare induced by eating pizza and pickles right before bed? Nope...it's BJ's vacation in England as depicted in "The Halls of Stonehenge", my current mod in the works.
Features include:
- all new textures and enemies (from "Blood" by GT Interactive)
- six cool new weapons
- "crosshair" toggle and "holster weapon" features
- text before and after certain levels
- all new story continuing the Wolfenstein saga
- 21 cool and challenging levels
- environmental hazards
- textured ceilings and floors
- much much more
So, if that doesn't get you excited, you'll just have to check out the website and some of the screenshots that go with it. Hopefully that will get your blood pumping! In the meantime, grab your spook repellant, polish your shotgun, and get ready to kick some zombie butt - BJ style!
Great news (for me, at least!) "Wolfenstein: Halls of Stonehenge" has finally been released! It's taken a lot of "Blood", sweat, and tears, but the results are worth it. The game feels more like a totally different FPS than a Wolfenstein conversion, and even non-fans of the original Wolfenstein games should enjoy this. View the mod profile for the download link. :)
Good news! The target release date for "Halls of Stonehenge" has been set. It should be finished October 15th at the latest, and if all goes as planned...
this allows you to run the program in windows without dosbox. extract files to halls of stonehenge directory. port by chris sdl dlls from ripper

Thanks...glad you're enjoying them! That's the goal of producing them, after all! :-)
I've downloaded a few of your Mods and I love them, keep up the good work! :)
wow, it looks pretty good
Thanks for clarifying that for people...I didn't think to mention that they could get it "bug free" from the same link now...the revised exe has been getting great reviews...nice work! :D
Man, this is starting to totally make sense now! Everywhere on EARTH seems to link directly to Mr. Lowe's page, which still had the version from November 2nd! There was a November 3rd copy issued that fixed level 5 issue (which I just assumed people updated to - but they really didn't; lol), and also a patch on November 29th to upgrade people's saved games. No wonder why people are still talking about this!!!
There is an updated version issued today that lets people with low memory see the game at full screen; and fixes a few other minor things (special weapons are 2x stronger, for instance). It replaces the old link at the top of this page under the "Download URL" section of "Contact / Action Options". I'll include the link here as well:
Belowe.com
Alternatively, if you're still using the November 2nd copy, and want to keep using it (because you have already created saved games with that version), you can pass the levels by running the patch.exe in the archive below:

Have fun, and sorry I didn't reply to this earlier! :)
Sorry it took me so long to see this post...yes, there is a way around that. There are text screens that come up after you beat each boss (they aren't anything extremely special, they just tell you what's coming next briefly). On some PC's, including mine ironically enough (because mine sucks), this causes the crash you mentioned.
There is an advanced options menu in the main menu for HOS. If you turn off the option that says something about showing the text files, then try to proceed, it should work for you. Sorry I can remember exactly what the menu option is called, but I know it's there, and it should be easy to find. Hope this helps! :D
After I killed the boss at the end and hit the switch to end the level my game crashed so I saved my game right before the exit switch but it crashed again once I hit the switch is there a way to get past this I want to progress to the next level. Thanks,Tom great mod btw good luck on your next one
