Winter Warfare is a modification set during a fictional version of World War 2 were a new Ice Age has begun. The Battle of Britian fails and Operation Sealion is a sucsess, the Soviets are defeated at Stalingrad and Kursk, D-Day fails, Italy never surrendered and Japan invaded Hawaii. This mod tells the story after the main Allied Powers have fallen such as the United States, Britian and the Soviets, instead it focuses on the remaining allies as they fight in brutal winter weather aganist a huge Axis force.

Can we have mike's version of the song as it is better?
But this is sadder and creepier...
Everyone down votes me even though music is what I do for a living. I prefer mike's version so if you don't, you do not need to downvotee me and make me look like an idiot.
If you really want to argue with me about music then go ahead, see how far you will get. Anyway it was a request not a demand and I'm one of the head developers of this mod so it is our decision at the end of the day.
I didn't downvote. I was just stating my own opinion. This is the actual theme from The Grey and it is more spine-tingling than the one by Mike. It is cold, just as this new Ice Age is. I am no music analyst, but the xylophone (I think that's it) sort of represents innocence lost. Is not war where innocence is lost? Where brutality comes into play over love? I know I'm going overly dramatic for this, but I feel that this, the original, is better than the cover by Mike. No offence to Mike, however. And the guitar plucking in the middle of it... I find that sad.
I never said you did. I'm just saying that the piano cover is by Mike and Mike's songs are kind of CAT studios mods songs as both Scandinavia and this mod could have them. But I don't really mind to be honest, I was simply requesting if we could have Mikes version. I will take you point on board and consider it.
