Our CAT Mod Studios running storyline takes us to the 1940s where the Cold War
(Winter Warfare) rages on as the so called Ice Age global snow, ice and cold temprature spread has consumed much of the Northern hemishpere. The United States, The United Kingdom and the Soviet Union were pretty much destroyed by the Axis powers. After fighting into the early 1950s, the ice and snow began to recede back North and finally the remaining allied powers (China, Austrailia, New Zealand, Canada and Iceland) managed to push the Axis forces back when Hitler was killed in a Chinese air raid on Viennia where he was staying with his wife on a vaccation thus collapsing the Third Riech and the Axis alliance who now had no supreme leader and no organisation. After this bitter war and when the tempratures/weather returned to normal, China reinstated socilaist rule in the USSR, Canada reinstated the USA and Austrailia and New Zealand reinstated Great Britian/United Kingdom.

Now we head to the late 1950s. China launches the first man-made satilite making the Soviet Union and NATO jealous and worried at the same time. Seeing this, the Soviet Union launches 'Operation Bear Claw' on the Russian-Mongolian-Chinese border leading to the Sino-Soviet Border Conflicts of 1957-1959. By the time this has finnished, 13,000 people have died for little land gains for the Soviets. The USSR needs a new stratagey. Knowledgable that Iran and Azerbaijan in the Middle East recently defated the othe Arab nations (mainly Iraq) with little casulties and a large land/resource gain, the USSR proposes to fund and requip the Iranian and Azerbaijani armies if they launch a Soviet-Kazahk backed invasion of China's neibourghing protecterates: Turkmenistan, Krygastan and Tajkistan. They foolishly accept and so the First Iron War begins in 1960.

By 1968, the First Iron War is over with more than 100,000 casulties on both sides. Once again, there is little gain for the Soviet Union. Egar for a revenge strike, China attacks Kazahkstan in the Second Iron War which lasts until 1974 with around 6,000 casulties all togeather with a decsive Chinese victory. The Third Iron War is the longest yet lasting until 1983 with about 17,000 casulties but the Soviets managed to hold their ground this time.

In 1986, an East German MiG-21 is shot down by West German SAMs leading to the 'Superiority War' between PACT and NATO European nations mostly thought in the air with a final loss of 109 dead pilots, 24 fighter planes, 3 level/heavy bombers, 12 transport aircraft, 2 T-55 tanks, 1 T-64 tank, 2 BMP-1 IFVs, 1 M113 APCs, 1 M48 Patton and 68 ground troops/paratroopers.

After this short one week war, there was finally peace until the early 1990s where Soviet backed PLACA went to war in Central Africa with NATO and Chinese backed CAFU resaulting in the worst conflict in the history of Africa with nearly 3,000,000 casulties, 3,400 destroyed tanks, 6,000 destroyed IFVs and APCs, 181 planes shot down, 409 helicopters shot down and 600,000 civilian casulties. This war lasted from 1993-1997.

After this brutal conflict, the Soviet Union collapsed making way for the Russian Federation. For about two decades, only a few small scale wars were thought: The Syrian Civil War, The 2003 Invasion of Iraq, Sino-Vietnamese War of 2007 and the Arab Spring uprisings in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia etc. Then the long world peace was broken. On Decemember 6th, 2022, Russian troops, tanks, aircraft, helicopters were on their way across Eastern Europe to attack the EU. This war sparked into a nuclear war in which the cites of Minsk, Budapest, Kiev, Berlin, Vienna, Warsaw and a few others were turned into battlegrounds or nuclear wastelands. The Russo-EU war lasted until 2026 with almost 12,000,000 feared dead. The EU was too weak to put up any major military threat and put their support in the Scandinavian countries of Sweden and Norway who were under threat from Finland and Denmark.

In late 2027, the Scandinavian War began when Danish Armed Forces crossed the bridge from Copenhagen to Malmo and into Sweden following air and artillery attacks. Finland immedietlty joined the war on Denmarks side and Norway were quick to join forces with Sweden.

However, a new threat was rising. Since the Cold War of the 1940s and 1950s, they have been building a vast armed force in secert and are preparing to take revenge on the rest of the world.
