helpful and cool video! i even didn't know that the missiles from Apache can be guided by JTAC too.

just one question, does hellfire always follow the laser designation as first priority? or only when laser marking is present near the hellfire's target zone?

Hellfire will follow the laser designation under two situations only:

(1) If an aircraft (Predator drone or air player's Apache) launched a Hellfire relatively close from JTAC's laser spot, the missile will launch in Lock On Before Launch (LOBL) and instead of locking onto air player's target, it will LOBL-lock into JTAC's laser. In this instance, JTAC's laser overrides air player's targeting;

(2) If the air player fired a Hellfire from long distance into the 'basket' where JTAC is residing, then Hellfire will be launched in Lock On After Launch (LOAL) mode. In this instance, if a JTAC laser spot is visible within missile's field of view, Hellfire will lock onto the JTAC's laser spot. Otherwise, Hellfire will lock onto air player/helicopter's own TADS designator.

Note that Hellfire will only lock onto lasers it can see. If the laser is not visible within the seeker's field of view (gimbal limits), it will not lock onto it.

Last but not least, only the 'AGM-114R' missile can be guided by laser -- this missile is fired by Attack Helicopter for Beginners and AH-1Z Cobra (from infantry panel).

Currently, the 'Attack Helicopter for Experts' Apache model uses the 'AGM-114L' Longbow Hellfire, which uses millimeter-wave active radar, and cannot be guided by laser. Be sure to check the helicopter's unit descriptions to verify the armament type.

I know this isn't new but I still love the coordination between air force (apache) and ground force for targetting purpose. A whole new game compared to vanilla WIC^^.

Btw, the missiles define themselves for only one laser frequency each before the launch (in the apache) so or they "decide on their own" in flight whom target's laser frequency are whom's target ? (not sure if it's correct english or even a correct sentence)

When you did retarget for a 2nd missile, in a real game with moving targets (eventually), would you have enough time to retarget or the 2nd missile would have already strike in fact ? (strike the ground, not any target) or the laser command is fast enough to retarget as you wish or the 2nd missile slow enough? (since you have to wait the 1st missile hit before retargetting and you throw those nearly at the same time)

And I know it's from another video (land Cruise missile -but I prefer to follow only 1 vid for my message so I post it here too^^) but Cruise missiles, are those retargetable (when you change the course of the missile in the vid) or was that just for vid purpose ? :)

Anyway, really, great tutorial ! I wish I already had my future Windows 7 gamer computer to play your mod !
