Modern Warfare Mod 3 brings World in Conflict from the Cold War into the Modern Age. It also ups the ante on realism and authenticity in every role – Infantry, Armor, Support and Air, while trying our best to keep everything relatively balanced for fun and interesting gameplay.
This update adds FLINT to the Javelin, a new HD model for the Apache, and more! Requires v1.0.1.1.

Modern Warfare Mod has been updated today to version 2.7.
One of the major improvements is that the AH-64D Apache Longbow model has been completely redone, now being of a much higher quality. Using new levels of detail (LOD) management techniques, the maximum polygon limitation has been pused up from 15,000 to 32,000 polygons without crashing the game. The new model is almost photorealistic.
Another improvement is that the USA anti-tank infantry's FGM-148 Javelin now uses the FLINT engine for the missile, resulting in good looking and realistically simulated missile performance.
As well as these major updates there are a range of small changes which are detailed in the changelog.

NOTE: This mod requires your World in Conflict to be patched to version 1.0.1.1. or it will not work. To patch your game, simply start the game, sign into multiplayer, and it will detect that your game needs patched and update your game.
Choose which type of install you would like to do. Please note that the installer is only compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7, not Windows XP.
2.7.1 is a maintenance release that brings a host of bug fixes based on community input from online players.
This is a full version of the mod. Even if you don't have the mod at all this will install it as 2.7.1.
The maps installer has now been improved to be able to install the maps for all versions of World in Conflict, without you having to choose.
NOTE: If you already had 2.5 or 2.6 you do not need to redownload the maps.
Due to the increasing complexity in the simulation of missiles, aircraft, artillery, and more- Modern Warfare Mod 2 requires a higher-end system than specified on the original World in Conflict system requirements.
At minimum, your system (including video card) must maintain 30 frames per second or higher. Below 30 fps, numerous homing projectiles may miss their targets or fail to perform altogether. Try lowering your graphics settings if you cannot achieve enough frame rate.
World in Conflict and MW Mod both support multi-threading. It's recommended for your system to have quad-core or better CPU, at minimum of a dual-core processor.

Wow, mod looks great!
I hope the US don't go overpowerd. With all those missiles the Russians just die really fast. And I see you kill lots of T-90s tell me is the Shtora defence working ingame or will it be ever implimented?
The Russians have equivalent amount of missiles, and yes Shtora-1 is implemented.
When we make demonstration videos, we always use US hardware. It's just a matter of taste, but does not reflect gameplay balance in any form.
Ah thanks for the reply. I am glad the Russians won't get underpowered.
Cheers
Some humble suggestions:
1. Maybe bump down the T-90's price a bit? That thing is really no match for the M1A2. Even without the smoke advantage, 2 M1A2s can easily take on 3 T-90s. Maybe it's because of the APFSDS? The Russians can only hope that T-80s swarm can get into knife-fighting range before the US flyers tear them to shreds. An alternative would be a more powerful T-90, I'm thinking T-90MS?
2. The US JTAC does not need better survivability as it is. That thing can stay hidden in cover and just call down air strikes with impunity while the Russian JTAC has to advance with friendly armor column to even hope to call down air support before being destroyed. Maybe get Russian Spetnaz infantry JTAC instead?
3. Russians should get even cheaper artillery (or US should have more expensive ones) since Soviet combat doctrine is heavily based on artillery support rather than full air support.
4. Discard Mi-28N's rising effect when firing ATGM. That thing bugs more than it helps.
5. Is it normal that US's F-22 keeps shooting everything down? At one point I could swear that it shot down cruise missiles like nothing. On smaller maps the Russian Su-27 can't even stay in the air because of F-22.
I found an weird bug when i playing as russian air. Tu-95 keep firing cruise missile on friendly infantry units which entered in building. check this video.
