What about replacing the Mi-8 with the Ka-60. Its so old.
Mi-8 is still used today by many nations, including Russia. It may be old, but it is still a very relevant and capable transport helicopter even to modern standards.
As for Blackhawk model, that project has been delayed -- our modeler couldn't get the models done in time.
On another note, Blahdy it might be worth replacing the Mi-28 chopper with the Ka-50 "Blackshark" even though it is in limited service, I fell it would be a welcome introduction for MW. Or perhaps even making it an optional replacement?
I agree in that Ka-50 is a good addition (we'll still keep the Mi-28 though), even though it's not really in serious service. DCS has it, and it just seems like a very welcome addition.
What model are you replacing the blackhawk with? I suggest using an MH-60L DAP

Yes Blahdy, your spot on, the Mi-8 maybe old but it is still preferred for en-mass transport as it has a higher max payload and has more space internally as well as the ability to air-lift vehicles and equipment. And while the Mil Mi-8 is being retracted from service and replaced by the Ka-60, the Ka-60 cant airlift heavy loads and I am doubtful it can airlift at all. So even when the Ka-60 replaces the Mi-8 the Mi-8 will most likely still be used as a heavy transport chopper.
Well, i think Ka-60 is good mainly for specops, while Mi-8\17 - for more global ops and cargo lifting...
Anyway, Hip is pretty good chopper
