Modern Warfare Mod brings World in Conflict from the Cold War into the Modern Age. It also ups the ante on realism and authenticity in every role – Infantry, Armor, Support and Air, while trying our best to keep everything relatively balanced for fun and interesting gameplay.

Hey, hopefully this is a simple fix, but if anyone has a suggestion that be great.

I'm trying to install the latest WIC:MW Map Pack (Modern Warfare Mod Maps (for 2.5 and onwards), but when I attempt to use the installer, it only manages to create the Map Pack Uninstaller file before giving me this error:

World in Conflict MW Mod Maps has not been totally installed because of the following reason:

wic70.sdf: This file contains invalid data. (error 11FD)

You will have to run this utility again to completely install World in Conflict MW Mod Maps.

Does this mean the installer is bad? I got it off of Gamefront, which is linked from the download page on ModDB. Everything is located on the C: drive, Mod is correctly located in the C:\Users\Public\Documents\World in Conflict\Mods\Modern Warfare, game has been patched to 1.0.11. Though I had to do a manual install of the actual mod, because the Installer file for the mod itself was giving me the same error). I would love a manual install version for the mod maps.

Thanks

The installer appears to be bad, can you try again directly from our own Download section?

Mmm, I wondered, as it turns out, on my computer, downloading any of the installer files (both for mod and maps) somehow corrupts the installer. Might be Chrome's fault, might be my computers fault, might have something to do with the type of installer you use.

It works if I download the installers in Internet Explorer (ugg) they work just fine. Go figure.
