Check out the description again: "air targets and ground vehicles". The avenger is a pure air defense system equipped with stinger missiles. The Thor uses HVM High Velocity Missile that launches three laser beam riding submunitions (darts), they have explosive fragmentation warheads. The missile can be successfully used against all kinds of ground vehicles: trucks, armored personnel carriers, etc. except against heavy armored targets like tanks.

Thank you for your suggestion, it will be taken in to consideration, although please note how busy the mod team are. It is difficult to create and animate everything, but that does not mean that some day it will not be in the mod.

it can atack ground targets but not really efectively - like the panzir can))) panzir even has the advantage of guns (although they are crap in ground fire) and future hermes missile. otherwise thor is another avenger, although less sucsessfull comercially

Pantsir S-1 is no doubt a much more advanced air defense system but it`s on the Russian side, you are not suggesting that all sides should have Pantsir in their arsenal right? About it being "another avenger", show me an avenger firing at an Armored personnel carrier and I might accept Thor as another avenger. Until then I see zero resemblance - they use different missiles, with different guidance, different warheads and can attack different targets...

same purpose/role/battlefield use. I think the story here is the same as with the javelin - the latter can fire at air targets but not with much use. And thor can fire at ground targets. But in rl i think it will not and rather provide aa support for the troups against helis and atack aircraft at low altitude. And nothing else. So in effect is is another avenger i think.

I think for now, we probably don't need this.

We had to introduce Pantsir S1 specifically to counter Apache in game, b/c fire and forget Hellfires are just too annoying.

We don't have that problem with Mi-28, so I think adding more anti-helicopter weapons to USA side is not necessary as we would be solving a problem that does not exist. Currently, in the latest development builds, Patriot and Stingers appear to be providing sufficient air defense umbrella for US faction.
