Once again, I'm back with lots of TA suggestions! woo yay i've suggested some of these before. some sort of landmine drop would be cool, if you can prevent spawnkilling. |

The mines are already in the game -- combat engineering infantry can lay down AT mines. But the problem of mines is that each mine is a unit. The more you have on the battlefield, the faster it will crash your game. so it is better to keep mines minimized as much as possible to give an edge in combat, but far from being able to spam. BLU-82 is retired, so we it's removed altogether from the mod. JSOW, we may consider it in the future. It will take a while to develop these things (like it took a long time to make sensor fuzed weapon). We're generally shying away from TA's but focusing on making units more cooler with better explosions and effects produced by player controlled units. The reason for this is that TA's completely break the game balance for MW Mod, while it is ok for vanilla. The only TA's we will have eventually are some symbolic ones for very expensive prices to the point of being useless (such as tankbuster, carpet bombing, sensor fuzed weapon). Everything else in TA menu will be either air-dropped unit, or an interceptable missile attack (JSOW could come into play in this regard) that can be shot down by Patriot and S-300 SAM. |
