Hi guys... I've some questions.. First of all why don't i have visual signal from my RWR. When getting locked and targeted, i only receive a written message and the audio signal
Second i still don't understand how exactly to use the laser illuminator guy that call in for airstrikes

Has the Visual Indicator been removed in the previous version of the mod or is there something wrong with my game or my setting ?

I don't see that thing either. Seems like it's been removed sometime after the tutorial was written. And the JTAC, use he's offense ability on your target. If there're available air assets on the battlefield, you'll receive a notification about it coming (e.g. "CAS pushing from waypoint xxxx").

Yes, cym104 is correct.

The air role is meant to be played typically with 1 attack helicopter (almost like FPS / battlefield style), rather than several in group. Since air players typically use 1 attack helicopter in the battle, we opted to remove the visual indicators, as they just seem to get in the way of concentrating.

As for JTAC, there are two ways to use this:

1. General Designation - Brief Lase
As cym104 stated, designate the target area using offensive ability. When lased, you'll see blinking "L" indicator at the area you're lasing. If there are enemy targets visible, you will see notification message on the chat window from any air assets that are available. If no enemy units are available, Recon UAV will respond (provided it did not get killed by enemy AA). Once you receive a notification that aircraft is responding to your designated area, you can cease lasing by issuing Stop command to the JTAC unit.

2. Continuous Illumination
As friendly aircraft or air player is approaching your area, you can change your laser designation and lase an enemy unit (i.e. infantry, tank, aircraft, building, anything). If you continuously leave the laser on, some aircraft will drop laser guided bombs or laser-guided Hellfire (in case of UAV or AI choppers). Any laser guided munitions launched into your area will lock onto your laser. You can even switch your lasing to a different target, to redirect the incoming ordnance to a new target.

When I have some time in the future, i'll probably do a tutorial video of JTAC function. I know this is something that's been asked by many people, so it's rather on moderate priority.

U won't have much success with that. Most arties are well protected by HSAMs/IADSs, and u don't want to fly anything too close to those things.
