Possible solution for mod not showing up Thread - WIC: Modern Warfare Mod for World in Conflict

After playing around a bit I found a solution for when the mod does not show up in your mod list under Options in WiC.

The installer is English, meaning for Windows 7 the mod is placed at C:/users/Public/Documents/World in Conflict/Mods/Modern Warfare
However, the folder Documents has to be in the language of your Windows system. Because my Windows 7 is Dutch, this means the path changed in the following way for me:
C:/users/Public/Documenten/World in Conflict/Mods/Modern Warfare

For XP I believe the English path is C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Documents/World in Conflict/Mods/Modern Warfare

Documents probably has to be changed to your own language here too.

For Linux users:
Personally I run World in Conflict in Steam, on Arch Linux using a wine emulation of Windows 7. If you also use wine, make sure the path you use, is for the version you have set your wine to in winecfg.

I run it on steam too, i installed it to the right place, but it still doesnt show up?!

You didn't change the installation directory did you?

As DkySven says, mod goes into C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\World in Conflict\Mods\
