Subject of 4.x-5.0. So far i'm having no issues with dodging other missiles unless being too risky, but i've yet to survive an a-10 aim-9x shot. Pretty much all the time it's either you rush close to get AA-10 shots before he shots you, try to get on side outside gimbal or just running away in hopes that tors will deal with if before your helicopter dead. Any tips or at least can someone confirm is that possible at all? |

Both R-73M and AIM-9X are difficult to dodge, as they have highest CCM values to reject flares. You could dodge AIM-9X by flaring out and flying back into your flares (basically stay near the flare for at least 2 seconds to confuse the seeker), but this is kind of hard. Generally speaking, helicopters are going to be at a disadvantage when fighting aircraft. |
