Modern Warfare Mod brings World in Conflict from the Cold War into the Modern Age. It also ups the ante on realism and authenticity in every role – Infantry, Armor, Support and Air, while trying our best to keep everything relatively balanced for fun and interesting gameplay.

Hey Guys,
How would a CRAM System fit in your game concept? Maybe to protect your SAMs from enemy artillery fire?

The C-RAM is planned to be in the mod actually. Hopefully blahdy will reply with more information as to its gameplay purpose.

Counter-RAM is certainly planned.

Currently M163 VADS is working like C-RAM, because we do not have a C-RAM model in place.

So the M163 will be completely replaced by the C-Ram or will be possible to chose between those two?

Replaced.

the current M163 is completely overpowered and unrealistic. In real-life, an M163 cannot shoot down a cruise missile.

The only reason why we have it shown as M163 is simply because we do not have a model for C-RAM.

I was actually playing the mod then I wondered, as the C-RAM is immobile if it will be the defensive anti-air for the USA, like the ones that you can build as you go onto those command points? so it will be ridding the old cold war AAA and be replaced with the C-ram.

Mmmm, we don't really want C-RAM/terminal-AA's sitting on command point fortifications, because then it would be very difficult for Russian air to attack it with cruise missiles.

I think current system is fine for command points in terms of game mechanics.

C-RAM should be more or less for defending Patriot sites and high-value assets like air player FARP sites, etc in beta 7.
