Just wanted to bring up a few suggestions/questions regarding the AH-64D.

First, could the AH-64D Apache Longbow's hellfire launch effects could be changed back? In older videos of WIC MW2 mod dating around October 2010, I've seen them looking absolutely fantastic.

But with Beta 7 they don't look nearly as good - when fired in quick succession, like the AH-64D for experts is capable of doing, it looks like the smoke effect is moving in an oval. Which is odd. Being new I can't post YouTube links just yet, so I hope my meaning is clear.

Secondly, I'd like to ask whether the tracers of explosive cannons (Which for some reason I'm seeing as green!) can be changed back to a red or yellow color.

Thirdly, there's a sort of odd bug where when deploying the Apache's offensive ability (scanning or firing) the Apache, instead of slowing and turning towards the target, freezes in the air, tilted sideways, and swivels toward the target. It seems stuck in this odd position until a fresh movement order is issued. The resting sideways tilt also sometimes occurs when the aircraft is stationary in a hover. Is there a way to fix this, or at least to make sure the aircraft is always level when not moving?

Finally, I'd like to ask whether it is possible for the altitude of attack choppers to be changeable by holding down your right mouse button to issue a move order and to select a direction for one's aircraft to face, and 'stretching' the pointer away from that spot. For low altitude flight, there'd be hardly any stretch at all, merely enough to set a direction. For high altitude flight, one must move the mouse pointer further away from the movement spot. In vanilla WIC, this was used to set the spacing for a formation, but since Air players seldom control more than one or two air units at a time, it seems like a more elegant option. This way, players can climb and descend without moving very far from their position at all.

Numerous performance optimizations had to be done during beta 6/7 development to stabilize the game, so Hellfire animation is not nearly as good as it was before. We may revisit it again to try to improve further, but it's a stop-gap measure for now.

This was changed to green for accuracy reasons.

Yes this is a game engine related bug so not a whole lot we can do about it. Best work around is as you said, simply issue another move order.

We'd like to do it the way you suggested, but the use of right mouse button aircraft for now, is hard-coded in game, so not something we can change outright.

Thanks for the prompt reply, Blahdy.

If the hellfire effect IS revisited, please try to stop the smoke particles cycling back on themselves to start the next launch animation, if it can be done. Perhaps having TWO effects that alternate?
