WASTELAND
Story
The world used to be a much different place.
Humanity was flourishing and businesses were thriving.Then the bombs fell.
Nobody knows who pushed the button first or even why.
One by one their allies followed suit until seemingly every country was involved.
When the smoke settled, the world was torn apart.Billions perished during the war with even more in the following years.
Governments toppled as society fractured into chaos.
Gangs formed their own brand of justice as Scavengers roamed the wastes.Then a beacon of hope.
A resistance formed to provide order and protection from enemies of mankind.
However, even they were surprised when the abominations appeared.
Out of the fallout riddled wastes came the mutants and other creatures.
They attacked all without bias. They killed without bias. They were relentless.But there was something worse on the horizon, hiding in the shadows.
Whispers of a new threat were on the lips of those fighting for survival.A new threat nobody could have prepared for.
FEATURES
Locations
The various zones you progress through in Wasteland can be revisited at any point and have a variety of different paths to choose from. Your progression through the game world is a continuous adventure with only the short pause needed for loading new areas.
Expansions
Following Wasteland release we plan to expand upon the adventure with additional content over time. This includes brand new zones to explore, new enemies to encounter and new weapons with which to add to your arsenal.

Really getting Ashes 2063 vibes from what I've seen so far.
Just out of curiosity, given the mods name, is this based on the 1988 game of the same name? If so, will we see rpg elements as well?

We are back to work on this mod. Well I say mod, but it will be released as a standalone game. But we will still be using the GZDoom engine. Hopefully we will post some new content on here and on the discord soon!.
Didn't you guys decided to change the engine to UE4?
Gentek wanted to see if it was possible, but decided not to and stick with gzdoom, plus better performance with gzdoom.
