Warrior Kings Launcher adds more functionality and customizability to both Warrior Kings Remastered and Battles!
So far, features shall include:
- Modding and Custom Map Capability
Able to customize and enhance the game using mods. Three types of mods will be able to be added - maps, shaders and mods. I hope to make extensive tools for modding, a mod formatter, map editor and game archive browser.
- Profile and Saves Editing
This means you change the name of your profile, which maps you have unlocked and also cheat - but of course you wouldn't do that...
- Game (+ Launcher) Options
You will be able to change the resolution of the game above the normal 1400x1050 up to full HD and beyond, change all normal graphic and sound settings, multiplayer settings and some other more technical items.
- Game Archive Browser
You will be able to freely browse the game archive and extract files from it - hopefully i'll find a way to recompile the archive so changes can be made ;)
The mod will officially support Windows XP and 7.
Hope everyone finds this mod useful!

So what am I up to? Well today I finally got a fully working Mac Wrapper for Warrior Kings Battles - just need to add some finishing touches then I will release it. Hopefully that will get some mac users (including me :P) playing. I would post a video but for some reason QuickTIme doesn't record the games sound!
And my mod...well that's not going anywhere. It's almost impossible to mod Warrior Kings! So I'm rethinking the whole idea of the launcher. It will now just have a save game manager, game options (higher resolutions/population limit), a shoutbox, will tunnel all game traffic (meaning no more hamachi - servers will just 'come up'), will show any news/championship information and any more ideas that come to my mind will be added in. I'll put up some pics/a demo up at some point. Sadly it won't include any mods/maps for the game unless I/someone can figure out a way to do it.
The Warrior Kings Community is coming along great and now has over 70 members and has many regular matches online.
We are currently having a online championship/tournament! Unfortunately it is too late to enter (if you haven't already) but you should still come and have a look - you will know who to fear when you play online.
Wooho! Our own website and forum :) Sure there is nothing on it at the moment (and signups are disabled) but it's definitely something to keep a eye on. You can have a sneak peek at Warriorkings.tk.
