Warhammer 40,000: Enter Phoenix
Welcome one and all to the world of Enter Phoenix, an intriguing Eldar tale of deception and revenge, love and loyalty set in the grim darkness of the 41st millenium.
A new single player linear campaign expansion mod for Dawn of War: Soulstorm that aims to put the literature, lore and stories back into the games as well as introducing new Eldar characters in an episodic fashion. As a single player campaign, it aims to use mostly native assets and concentrate on a thrilling and unpredictable campaign with branching narratives and a brand new story introduced into the world of Warhammer 40,000.
REQUIREMENTS:
=============
Dawn of War: Soulstorm, patched to the lastest v1.2 version.
Although it has been tested on Dark Crusade and runs fine, due to the development of further episodes in the future and the introduction of certain races, objects and decals it is therefore recommended to be played on Dawn of War: Soulstorm. Third Party mods are not supported.
INSTRUCTIONS:
=============
Unzip the file straight into your THQ\Dawn of War - Soulstorm\Data folder. This may vary dependant on if you have a Steam setup or otherwise. Overwrite if prompted but please note, the mod includes a game loading screen which will overwrite any loadscreen installed by mods that use them. If you prefer not to use the included loadscreen, simply click no when prompted to overwrite or change the name to avoid conflict. This is located in Engine\Data\Art\ui\textures.
GAME SETUP:
===========
To play the campaign Enter Phoenix from the main menu click on Game Manager and double click, 'Warhammer 40,000: Enter Phoenix'. This will then reload the game to the main menu. From here click on Campaign and double click the first mission, 'Insertion'.
PLEASE NOTE:
============
A UCS file is included which has the range {18010000 - 18011412}. If you have this range reserved for another mod please temporarily remove that UCS file so that the ranges do not conflict. The file can then be replaced once you have finished playing the campaign. This is located in EnterPhoenix\Locale\[your language]\Enter_Phoenix.
TROUBLESHOOTING:

Everyone knows how to play the mighty Space Marines in linear campaigns. The Eldar play and fight differently. Use different tactics to defeat your foes as knocking on the front door isn't always the best strategy. Bonesingers are not just your builders and webway gates are not just a handy home - they're your best assets.

Very interesting work, I've been waiting for something like that for a long time. The company was fascinating. But with my knowledge of English, reading was a little problematic. Will the text of subtitles be translated into Russian? If not, I could make the transfer with your consent. at least at the level of an amateur)

Sorry for the late reply, episodes 3 and 4 are being updated due to the voice actors not being available. Script and story line is the same but had to cut a few corners. Hopefully get them both out in the next few months.

It's a one man project and although I've not abandoned it, most of the voice actors have. The third episode is done and both episodes 4a and 4b are close to being finished.

If you follow the file structure it should appear automatically. If you're still having problems can you create an account so I can troubleshoot in further detail?
