This project is a fast paced oldschool "standard" RTS modification for Warcraft III The Frozen Throne, that takes place after the 2nd War with the Alliance still fighting the remains of the Orcish Horde. It aims to bring the gameplay of Warcraft2, Starcraft:Broodwar and Armies of Exigo to Warcraft 3.

Yea, add some variety, some tree types could also make gatherers return more lumber per trip as the high yield minerals in SC2
Yeah, that's a good idea. xD!
It'd be hard to make, though, as the amount of lumber a worker can carry is not determined by the tree but by the harvest ability, which means the worker would have to have two different harvest abilities that via trigger are issued to order based on what kind of tree it is told to harvest from.
A bit too complicated just for recreating the high-yield system, if you ask me. Unless you're going to completely re-script the resource system from the ground up, like WarCraft Vs StarCraft did.

Nice mod, i was looking for something similar with the sc 2 engine but all they have are ****** wow clones that dont belong in the rts warcraft looked like you made towers actually useful again like they were in wc2, they were pointless in 3 aside from early game.
Thx. I had plans to port my mod to sc2 but the engine is so crappy and has some "features" i dislike. So using the wc3 engine was the only option.
