Before I download and use this... What exactly is this one? I have used previous versions, but would like to know what exactly this entails. Does it have all the new units? Or is it just vanilla units with realistic stats?
Hi Chakal I have a question for you: Do I need to download previous version of this mod I mean that Stable one from Sep 20th, 2012? I see a difference in weight so that's why I'm asking. Oh and when I unrar the stable version into my mod folder then what about the Lite version? Just extrack it too or I need to configure/change something?

I could never play Operation Torch and Carentan SP maps with War Realism and GSM. I always used to get exception fatal errors while loading those maps.
But with this version of your mod, the problem disappeared. Now I can play those missions again, after a long time.
The problem is still present in the latest version of GSM. I wonder why?
Hey Chakal, I wasn't sure where to put this but the game crashes whenever I try to play a skirmish mission it also crashes when I spawn an MG42 in multiplayer. I looked at the crash message and it would seem that there is an issue with the MG42 causing the crash. Not sure if it's the new sounds or what it is.

Chakal, just to confirm how you are trying to replicate the error ( which I also experience) , did you try to start up a German skirmish map, like St Hilaire or Market Garden. It is only when starting a German skirmish that this error message and crash occurs.
Other error also experienced: when playing the USA-Overlord skirmish, if you buy some rangers, it auto dumps the men not in the front seats into the water area.. and never assigns them to a player. the driver and front seat passenger arrive with the APC-vehicle fine.
I have downloaded the latest patch and extracted the mod in to the mod folder. When I activate the mod and try to go into a skirmish game the game crashes in about 3/4 of the loading.
Chakal is this compatible with multiplayer and/or custome skirmishes in multiplayer?
Me & my friend got many errors trying to run a server with it, just to play some SirHinkels maps in coop, but when we finally got it right and I cliked the play button - the map was loading - and suddenly crashed during the process :(

It doesn't seem to be compatible with Sir Hinkel's skirmish missions. There's always a crash during mission loading and it seems there are just a few conflicting elements... So sad.

Really nice mod. I just habe an issue: the mg42. Some people have already reported it and I can add some information. I've noticed that when you select the mg42 on the editor without pasting it, the tripod and the mg ammo are visible, but the real mg is not there, so I think it is a problem when spawning, not the mg42_Stan, but the only mg42. I've been changing some things inside the mg42 file but the problem still remains the same. Please tell me if there are any files in the mod that change mg42 parameters or whatever.
this ain't realism, the tank's mg is more accurate than its main gun, and what happened to the tanks main gun accuracy? it is like the tank's gunner is just assuming where he is shooting

Can you increase tanks accuracy? Around 70% and up from 100% of maximum range accuracy is poor.

Stable and Lite are different versions, you only need one, and only extract it in the mods folder, isnt necessary change/configure nothing.

Lite version, is only for real specs, but without new units or MP changes.

whenever it try to extract with adl uncompressor on new or old version, ADL Crashes and says not responding... how can i possibly fix this?

mmmm, yes is a problem with the mg42 stan, i checked it and i dont have that problem... idk what is the error.
