During a search for a lost girl, two close friends make a shocking discovery. Deep in the thick forests of Sweden, they find a deserted town, with no signs of any life within miles. Just as the two friends are about to leave the town to call the police, they are both dragged into a compelling mystery surrounding the decietful past of the town, Hovgård.
Our new musician and composer, Jesse Harlin, has spent a couple of hours being insane in the mainframe and spat out this insanely twisted track. You'll be hearing this echoing in your headphones as you venture through Hovgård.
Music is very important for a game like Visage that relies a lot on the overall atmosphere and environment design. Using the right tunes and sounds that fit the levels is key.
Great Music!
Agreed, the beginning reminds me of mirrors edge
Wow, nice!
A very lovely piece. Reminds me of the Resident Evil "save room" music at some points... Love how it goes from lighter tones to deeper, darker tones, to eerie tones, etc. Looking forward to hearing it in the release :)
Jesse, you are a MONSTER :) Oh and uhh, I'll be listening to this echoing through my headphones as I adventure through daily life :P
You've struck gold again my friend ! I do envy your skills.
Ah, more from Jesse! Love all his songs. This one's got a specific dark and desolate feel along with a different "expansive" feel supplied by the reverberating piano pad. Just can't get enough!
Whoa, I hadn't realized at first that this song was coming from a tab I had up... I was listening to it while browsing internets, and now I'm really looking forward to the rest of the mod's music! I just finished listening to it; to me it feels soothing, yet somehow insistent, at the same time. Really fits in with the rest of what I've seen from this mod, as well.
wow man, thank you. that was the very feeling I wanted to express.
Yay Jesse!
i recommend listening to this while browsing the images
Very nice music, nice atmospher.
I hate moddb because the quality when mp3 are uploaded are bad.
This mod and the Raindrop one look awesome.
Incredible soundtrack. You have a brilliant composer. I was shocked when I saw that it was 10 minutes long. He must REALLY be talented to spit this out in only a few hours.
thank you, I have gotten faster at composing over the years, but I can never anticipate how long, or "not" long something might end up being in the studio compared to its final output.
I spent 3 weeks on asymetrical_pyramid_sequence, and its much shorter, for instance.
I have been following Jesse's works since some time, and I can confidently say that he manages to surprise me with every new piece of music.
Keep it up mate :)
Awesome music!
Oh noes! East West Quantum Leap violins!!! :D No but it sounds very good, it's just weird hearing those samples again. Grab Vienna Orchestra or even a real violinist when you can for the final version; one live instrument will add a whole dimension to a piece. Look forward to hearing more.
You've got a good ear. yeah its east west all right. I haven't gotten vienna because..well.. price!
I tried to sequence very carefully to make what I have as expressive as possible though. I do have access to a couple violinists that can help also...
Nice music but make another note entry that creeped me out and it was interesting
