Ultimate is an ambitious mod for Paradox Interactive's outstanding grand strategy game Victoria II, it has an expansive feature list with multiple new start dates, from 1604 to 2023.
We frequently test our scenarios to make sure everything's balanced. While we're not quite there yet we thought we'd show you just how things can play out in the WW2 scenario. As you can see 3 years into the war Germany has conquered Europe, vassalised Belgium, and 'vichified' France. Great Britain is occupied but the empire fights on, having occupied Italian Libya and Ethiopia. The Soviets pushed a bit into German Poland, but it's getting pushed back fairly quickly by a combined force of Fascist Belgian, Vichy French and German troops (as well as the Turks, who allied Germany after they conquered France). I (Italy) am preparing an invasion force for the war with Greece, which didn't go well at all. They occupied Albania and the Germans appear too busy to help.
