Westeros is in chaos; fissures spread across the landscape, between plain and mountain, field and forest. This land is being carved up like thin ice before it shatters. Cold sweeps down from the north, lord fights lord and brother fights brother. In Essos, thundering hooves and dragonfire threaten to rise up in the East, as the free cities squabble over profit and the chance to make the most of Westerosi misery. Stark, Tyrell, Lannister, Volantene, Dothraki, Wildling - everyone looks to themselves, even as greater threats loom in the dark night. This is a time of fear and rage, of battle unto destruction - a time of total war.

They have a saying in Braavos - Valar Dohaeris. All Men Must Serve. Such is the way of the world as we have long known it, And the saying has a reply, too... Valar Morghulis. All men must die.

We (Comrade General and Jubal Barca) can now proudly announce that Valar Morghulis: Total War, bringing George RR Martin's fantasy universe into the classic Rome Total War engine, has now been fully released! After just two months of intensive work from start to finish you can now experience in full the wars over the Iron Throne - and carve out your own path to ultimate victory.

Thanks to everyone who helped and supported us - as ever, all rights to Game of Thrones, the soundtrack, etc are reserved to their respective owners and we make no claim to them. We'll still be working on tweaks and fixing, so do as usual let us know bug reports or post AARs on our forum. Please share this on social media/with your friends - the more people who get a chance to use this fan work, the better!

The gathering dusk falls over Westeros for another night. The rains weep over another battlefield, and the sky is a darkling grey. It has not turned cold - not yet. But it will do, no doubt. For all that the Dornish claim to be unbroken, for all that the Lannisters roar or the Arryns cling to their honour, there is one truth that lies below them all. The truth that the North remembers.

Winter is coming...

Is the term Valar Morghulis actually in the book or did you invent it? It's so ripped off Tolkien! The Valar are more or less the equivalent of angels in Middle Earth mythology and of course there's Minas Morgul, the Mordor citadel directly facing Minas Tirith...

It's obvious you've never seen the show/read the books because it features quite prominently in them, so put the blame on Mr. Martin. ;)

Looks great but needs voice acting. you can get FREE voice actors on Newgrounds.com

Zombies seem a little op, but that's what makes it more fun :)

I wish they could run slower tho.
