OK, I've actually tried this out now that there's a version with a liblist file.
For a start, there's no in-game way to acquire most of these weapons - you can only get them through console commands. This is a pain in the behind, and most people won't bother.
As for the individual weapons themselves...
- 9mm Handgun w/ Laser. Replaces the default 9mm, and I wish it didn't - the laser is built-in as part of the model, is a solid line and looks awful. Otherwise is identical to the standard pistol.
- AK47. Worst of the lot. Has HL2 arms, and literally cannot be reloaded - you can't do it manually, and even if you empty the clip, the gun doesn't automatically reload. Broken.
- Desert Eagle w/ Scope. Given how accurate the DEagle is, the scope's not really needed... not to mention looks silly and is practically impossible in real life, given how much kickback the gun has! I also noticed that when firing, the model goes off the side of the frame and appears to bug out slightly.
- HK MP5 Akimbo. As I mentioned before, this is taken from Counter-Strike, so doesn't have HEV arms and looks absurdly out of place. There's also no muzzle flash, so it never actually looks like it's firing.
- MP5 SD5. Probably the best implemented weapon here. Works fine, looks fine, no further comment.
Ultimately, this is an idea that needs more work - make sure all the arm models match, for a start - and the guns also need to be placed in the game so that they can be acquired without using the console.
yes, I'm sorry I forgot about the liblist.gam will release a fixed version. there are no maps in fashion, only weapons.
This appears to be a bunch of new weapons added to the base Half-Life game.
I say 'appears' because the first demo is unplayable - there's no liblist.gam file, so the mod doesn't show up in Steam. Even if you brute force it, you'll only ever see the menu - it's impossible to get the game to actually run, since it won't find any maps.
What I CAN do is look at the models... which are cobbled together from various different sources. You can see in the pictures that they have different arms - there's several different HD HL1 arms, one gun has HL2 arms and the akimbo guns is from Counter-Strike, so doesn't even remotely match.
