Assume command as the ambitious Hierarchy, the robotic Novus, the mysterious Masari, or the desperate humans in this mod inspired by the game Universe at War by SEGA and Petroglyph. New gameplay mechanics, new units, and an exciting campaign bring the war to life with additional factions to add to the chaos. So what will you do? Conquer, or survive? All models added in this mod are property of SEGA or Petroglyph, used with permission of their respective creators, or were made by the developers of Triumph of the Hierarchy. Permission was recieved from Petroglyph and SEGA prior to the start of work on the mod.
Here is the galaxy as of now. I have added the remaining human worlds and some Hierarchy worlds since the last picture of it was posted.
Nice map, did you make up the planet names yourself. Also any progress on the masai on making them work, I noticed a comment saying that he could help with that problem.
I took a look into the Masari and I don't feel that they would cross over well. The models could be fixed (although the guy who was helping with this has been very busy lately), and realizing this, I looked into the code. I would like each faction to at least resemble its UaW version, and I don't think this would work with Masari. Their light/dark modes could be managed on an individual unit basis, but I'd rather have it army-wide if I were to implement them. Additionally, I have planned out the mod's campaign without the Masari and feel that implementing them would be difficult.
I may later reconsider adding the Masari in as an expansion to the mod.
And yes, all the planets come from my imagination.
Well without the changing their modes in battle is ok but I hope later on in the progress of the mod you will get them working, even if they were just in skirmish that would be great.
I hope so to, but they would also be in galactic conquest, just not the scripted campaign.
