Assume command as the ambitious Hierarchy, the robotic Novus, the mysterious Masari, or the desperate humans in this mod inspired by the game Universe at War by SEGA and Petroglyph. New gameplay mechanics, new units, and an exciting campaign bring the war to life with additional factions to add to the chaos. So what will you do? Conquer, or survive? All models added in this mod are property of SEGA or Petroglyph, used with permission of their respective creators, or were made by the developers of Triumph of the Hierarchy. Permission was recieved from Petroglyph and SEGA prior to the start of work on the mod.
The T.H.U.M.P.E.R. has been added in!
I need an idea for a third human hero unit! In Universe at War, this was the American President. However, since the mod is on a galactic scale, this won't do. Any ideas? Perhaps an Admiral or General? Or a commando? Make your thoughts known!
Isn't the president already dead when you play the game, if I remember properly.
Well, he starts off alive and well, and then a Habitat Walker falls on the Capitol Building.
Well each race has a unique blend. The Hierarchy has three soldiers, each with special, yet martial strengths. Likewise, the Novus have three unique heroes, one a dedicated soldier/cyborg hybrid, one an aerial scout and effective fighter, and one 'leader', who provides both strategic and analytic advantages.
So I think the humans should also have an unique blend of heroes. For example, Randal is an effective anti infantry soldier while Thumper is a great anti-vehicle tank.
So for a third hero, maybe you should put in either an aerial supremacy unit, like a hero apache unit, or something like you said. An Admiral with fleet discounts and tactical benefits like a mixture of Tarkin and the Emperor from vanilla FOC would be great. Or you could do something like a fanon novus/human hybrid mecha, but that would be too like the Novus' Mirabel. Or you could just borrow a hero from the Masari, like the Prince.
Just a few ideas, anyways, I love the progress, keep it up!
I hesitate to use a Masari hero because I hope to implement the Masari once everything else is finalized.
What about F35 Widow as a hero?
I would have to get a custom model done, but I like the idea! I talk to our modeler. In space the hero could function as an Admiral, on the ground a Navy Flyer.
I say go with a Admiral
