This mod is a “Revival”, that is, a continuation of the original Trek Wars mod made by SMG Modding team. The “original” Revival team (led by Kavok) added factions such as the Klingons, Romulans and Dominion as opposed to the SMG Modding Team that had only added the Federation. Now, a new team, led by Imperial aim to continue these teams’ great work by refining their work and adding brand new content. Our progress has been slow, but we have been working on a new release that will add a lot of new content, and with the help of new team members, our team is producing more content than ever before!

Sorry for the lack of activity over the past few weeks, I have had a few real life issues to sort and also had internet problems too. I haven't been completely idle however.

The test release of the hotfix has been distributed to the test team. The most time-consuming part of the hotfix has been the rebalancing of the Star Trek factions, however the balance is now a lot better. There are however still some bugs outstanding which unfortunately I can't seem to fix;

- Galactic Conquest AI - Trek sides factions do nothing except build mining facilities and some ships

- Dominion FPS drop - Doesn't happen with any specific ship either...

On the plus side the Rebels and Zann Consortium AI works again in battle and only just yesterday I began work on the land units, a new experience for me, but you should shortly see some screenshots on something I managed to get working...

Awesome; thanks for the update! Have you tried looking into seeing if the Star Trek factions don't attack because they don't have enough ships? I have played the Thrawn's Revenge Mod and they seemed to get their custom factions to attack by overloading their credit supplies so that they can build more ships. You could also try contacting other modding teams if you still have issues when the land units come out. Still, sounds like a lot of progress has been made! Hope it continues to go well :)

But if we overload their credit supplies they will be too powerful. This trick would only work with the Federation, since the other ones are not that powerful, and in this period the Dominion has no reinforcements, there fore it's weakened.

In one test I decided to reduce the cost of the Galaxy class to 10 credits, sure enough the Fed spammed them, but even with entire fleets of 60 Galaxy classes they still didn't dare attack my completely undefended planets and planets with L1 Starbases... :(

will the borg/species 8472/undine be playable with the federation klingon romulan empire and repelion

The Borg are present as non-playable enemies, but not Species 8472.

Off-topic, Species 8472 and the Yuuzhan Vong would be an interesting battle however...
