You can feel your wet clothes, which stick at your body. There is a strange sweet smell in the air. Then your heart beats faster and your body allows you to open the eyes. You are lying in the middle of a stream, which turned red by blood. Everywhere around is blood. And you do not know where you are, who you are and…what has happened... “Tre – Last Live” is the sequel of “Tre – The Spreading” and begins where the story of part one ends. The Team around “Tre - Last Live” consists of: [WuTz]! – Scripting, Modelling, LevelDesign, Textures; Mr.Tom – Soundtrack; unrealer2 – Modelling, LevelDesign, Textures

I am proud to announce the winner of our voice contest:

Shivaxi – from unrealsp.org!

We have chosen him because he has the most fitting voice!
In addition to that here are some fresh screens, at the moment we are working on the last maps, searching bugs and putting pickups and enemies into the levels…next month you will find a download link for part 1 in the update. I have to stop here – there is still much to do.

it looks great, don't get me wrong.. but i'm not sure why you would think it looks more like crysis. unreal has such a distinctive look.. with few exceptions (mirrors edge, airborne)

Mirrors edge used a different rendering system which isn't in the Unreal 3 Engine.

But I agree, U3E has such a distinctive look. One being that it doesn't render/cook ambient occlusion or the bouncing of light correctly. Which is hard to do in an engine. Crysis can do it in realtime, and the Source engine can do it by cooking it into the level.

Mirrors edge main dif is the lighting engine its using (Berserk engine or something?) which IMO is quite a bit better then UE3 default, but really they both can have their own purpose.

Crysis fire only looks good when using DX10 for particle rendering :P UE3 fire looks like what they make it to, considering it can be customized to hell.
